ICPD Presence Strong at Upcoming 51st Annual Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy Meeting

Albany, NY, July 1, 2011 – The Institute for Clinical Pharmacodynamics (ICPD) today announced that it will have a strong presence at the upcoming Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) meeting.

“Each of our abstracts that were submitted for consideration has been accepted this year,” commented Dr. Christopher M. Rubino, Vice President of Pharmacometrics at ICPD. “The annual conference is an exciting platform to present and discuss our group’s findings over the past year with our peers.” ICPD submitted 13 abstracts for consideration this year; one abstract was accepted as a platform presentation and 12 were accepted as poster presentations.

Moreover, Dr. Paul G. Ambrose, ICPD’s President, has been invited by the ICAAC Program Committee to participate as a speaker in two full-day workshop sessions. The two sessions, Workshop 51-01, “Basics of Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of Anti-Infective Agents” and Workshop 51-03, “Introduction to PK/PD Modeling of Anti-Infective Agents,” will be held on Friday, September 16, 2011.

The 51st Annual ICAAC meeting will be held in Chicago, Illinois from September 17-20, 2011.
