ICPD Presence Strong at Upcoming 49th Annual Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy Meeting

Albany, NY, June 25, 2009 – The Institute for Clinical Pharmacodynamics (ICPD) today announced that it will have a strong presence at the upcoming Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) meeting.

“Each of our abstracts that were submitted for consideration were accepted this year,” commented Dr. Paul G. Ambrose, Director of ICPD. “The annual conference is an exciting platform to present and discuss our group’s findings over the past year with our peers.” ICPD submitted 10 abstracts for consideration this year; one abstract was accepted as a platform presentation and nine were accepted as posters presentations.

Moreover, ICPD scientists have been invited by the ICCAC Program Committee to participate as speakers in a number of plenary sessions. “Selection to participate as invited speakers demonstrates the recognition of ICPD scientists as leaders in infectious disease pharmacology and our team is truly excited about the upcoming meeting,” added Dr. Ambrose.

The 49th Annual ICAAC meeting will be held in San Francisco, California from September 12-15, 2009.
